4th Anniversary Post

It's Told You So Review's 4th Birthday!

I'm publishing this post in celebration of my blog's fourth, albeit belated anniversary! Since the day I created this blog, I've published 98 posts, received 19,326 pageviews, received 117 comments (my replies among them), and been followed by 11 people (my two Google accounts included)! This wasn't my greatest year, but I did add quite a few new features. Be sure to keep commenting and checking out my blog, and maybe become a follower! Thanks!

Wow, it sounds great that your blog has completed 4 years. Many congratulations to you! I also started a blog one year ago and I would like to celebrate blog-anniversary with my friends at some local Seattle Venues. If you have any ideas then please share!

New Crash Bandicoot Review Link

Crash Bandicoot was the first game I ever reviewed. Looking back, I am very disappointed with my original evaluation of the game. If you read the original version of this review, please disregard my complaints-- that draft was... incomplete to say the least. I wasn't lying when I said that Crash Bandicoot can be brutally challenging, but as a nine-year old I whined about how frustrating the earliest stages of the game were. Playing them now, they're pretty much a breeze. Had I played the infamous Sunset Vista and Slippery Climb stages back then, I may have broken a controller. The Told You So Times

Bad news: apparently, because my blog's template is black, you must highlight the options for my poll in order to see them.

In other news... I haven't really mentioned the ESRB ratings of the games I've reviewed, so I am now featuring the ESRB rating an content in my reviews Rated E 10+ for Fantasy Violence and Animated Blood, for example). If there is a feature of the game that the ESRB didn't cover well that could possibly concern parents, then I have listed it. And for those of you who are concerned how much the games I review cost, I'm now including the prices in my reviews, as well as the format (retail / download).

I also have my own YouTube channel. You can watch a couple of my videos right here on this page, or search up my channel, "Mason A." on YouTube. You're welcome to like my vids, or even subscribe. I haven't got much publicity yet. I have included the link to my channel on this page. Scroll down to the Other Sites section to find it.

I've added a +1 button to my sidebar. If it's not too much, I'd appreciate it if you recommended my blog on Google.

I'm now adding a section called Ups and Downs to my reviews, which points out a games good and bad features. It's essentially pros and cons.

I am now of age to play some M (Mature)-rated games. I'm reviewing those games as well.

From now on, I'm inserting the number of players supported in a game into my review. This way, if I don't mention how many of your pals you can play with, you can see anyway.

If you're concerned about the lack of reviews lately, don't be. As of my review of Half-Life 2, my 100th post, I'll be going into greater detail in my reviews. In order to ensure that I provide you with the best reviews I can, I'm now spending extra time explaining each aspect of the games I review and making my opinions very clear.

And in other news, I've hit 23,500 VIEWS! Woohoo!
